What is Beneikel’s mission?

The well-known shidduch crisis stems largely from:

What is a preferred shadchan?

Beneikel recommends using a “preferred” shadchan you trust. This shadchan understands all the details you’ve entered and knows when it’s time to reconsider or update search criteria.

Can I enter my name differently than usual?


The system is designed to recognize different spellings and keywords to avoid duplicate profiles for the same person.

What happens when my child gets married?


Your child’s profile remains under your control until they get married. Then they take over their personal profile and convert it into a family profile.

Is there a cost to use Beneikel?

No. The system is completely free for parents and shadchanim alike.

Who funds the platform?

Minimal expenses are covered by donors and generous community members who sponsor days or weeks of operation, ensuring that money is never a barrier to helping shidduchim happen.

I don’t have children in shidduchim. Should I still create a profile now?

Yes! The more profiles in the system, the better. Every name can come up in a search under different categories, whether as a father, father-in-law, mechutan, brother-in-law, reference, and more.

It helps provide a fuller picture and plays a big role in making better shidduchim.

THE GABBAI REVOLUTION

No internet is no excuse.
Beneikel was built for every member of our community. For families without internet access, designated Gabbaim in each shul or kehilla can help you create a profile for your child. Profiles are only published with your direct approval through a secure phone or SMS code sent to your verified number. You can remove Gabbai access at any time.
If my profile receives a suggestion, how do I find out about it?
The Gabbai is your point of contact. When a Shadchan or another user is interested in your profile, they will contact theGabbaiassistant, and they will provide you with all the details.
Who has control over my profile? Can the Gabbai make changes without my permission?
You have full and exclusive control. The Gabbai cannot do anything without your permission. Every time the profile is to be published or updated, it requires your confirmation through a code sent to your phone. If you decide to, you can remove the Gabbai’s rights at any time.
